1. What is this Animal and why it is required?
2. What is the value addition it offers over and above LTE?
3. What are the technological complexities/introduction in LTE-Advanced?
4. Any trial going for it?

  1. What is this Animal and why it is required?
    LTE promise the max limit about 300 mbps which is lower then what is required for the technology to be IMT-A complaint. LTE-A offers 3GBPS.
  2. What is the value addition it offers over and above LTE?
    Carrier Aggregation (combining 5 carriers into 1 i.e. 100 MHz), enhanced MIMO support , use of repeater (to improve the signal)
  3. What are the technological complexities/introduction in LTE-Advanced?
    No Idea
  4. Any trial going for it?
    Yes many i.e. Sprint, SKTeleco, At&T, TMobile
