In network initiated detach the triggering point is MME. There are different types of detach like reattach required, IMSI detach.
In case of reattch required(OAM detach) which UE ID is used at MME as triggering entity?

When MME triggers detach procedure with the cause "re-attach required " then in that case, UE will trigger attach procedure along with the GUTI since it is going to re-connect to the same MME. In case of network initiated detach procedure , MME does not include GUTI since there is no use by including this IE in detach request message.

Sir, I am triggering network initiated detach from OAM for EPS services for particular UE. But my problem is at OAM I should have UE ID for UE which I am going to detach. So my question is which UE Id should I use. Is it M-TMSI?

My question is when will MME initiate detach request with detach type as IMSI detach. I know that IMSI detach will happen when MME wants the subscriber to move out of non-eps service and move the association with the MSC to GS-NULL state .

In the network to UE direction:
Bits
3 2 1
0 0 1 re-attach required
0 1 0 re-attach not required
0 1 1 IMSI detach
1 1 0 reserved
1 1 1 reserved

I searched through all the spec but couldn't find a spec ref when will MME initiate detach request with detach type as IMSI detach.
