We don't have anything coined as EPC-Advanced. All the features are at the LTE-Advanced level.i.e only on the LTE - radio side, as already answered here before.

EPC still needs to support LTE-Advanced features. However there are changes in release 10 at the procedures and features' level , though they are not categorized to be under EPC-Advanced.

In LTE-Advanced focus is on higher capacity:
Increased peak data rate, DL 3 Gbps, UL 1.5 Gbps
Higher spectral efficiency, from a maximum of 16bps/Hz in R8 to 30 bps/Hz in R10
Increased number of simultaneously active subscribers
Improved performance at cell edges, e.g. for DL 2x2 MIMO at least 2.40 bps/Hz/cell.

The main new functionalities introduced in LTE-Advanced are Carrier Aggregation (CA), enhanced use of multi-antenna techniques and support for Relay Nodes (RN).

Suppose UE is attached with LTE n/w and have one default bearer and one dedicated bearer. eNodeB is releasing RRC connection due to inactivity. Now in RRC-Idle/EMM-Idle, will UE and EPC keeps bearer configuration of both dedicated and default bearer? Or will it have only default bearer configuration.
