What other procedures can be impact due to MAC-Reset ?

Hi sripathi,

While MAC-RESET , UE context and bearer contexts will be deleted in MAC layer. only impact is Before re establishment PHY might have recieved some data from UE and processing it , meanwhile if reestablishmet happens then MAC should handle that. because PHY doesn't know about UE-re establishment , it will simply forward the data which he recieved before re-establishment to upper layer but MAC doesn't have context of UE so it should handle it.

Here handling in the sense, if L2 received data from L1 but it doesnot find corresponding UE context, can the data dropped at MAC ?
Yes, It should drop it. It should not forward to upper layers.
