Hi,

QOS means quality of service. LTE have classified services into 8 different category, i.e 1 to 8. each service has set of parameters called delay,Qos identifier, priority, etc. .. click here to see full details

For the scheduler these parameter will be an input, Scheduler will give grant to all SRB and GBR bearers. once all SRB and GBR finished then it will serve N-GBR. among GBR or N-GBR bearer scheduler will consider the above mentioned parameter. Like e.g First which ever bearers are delay sensitive will get more priority then which ever has more Data will get second highest priority then priority of those bearers etc.

Important parameter to be considered is 1. delay 2. Type of bearer (GBR or N-GBR) , 3. priority 4. Channel quality.

Note : for controlling information like SRB,CE,Paging,RAR,SI's all will get highest priority than the data bearers. once all control information server then scheduler will start scheduling data bearers.

Hello all,

Can anybody suggests how we can set maximum bitrates for parameters like MBR, GBR (UL,DL), APN-AMBR(UL/DL), UE-AMBR(UL/DL) for GBR and Non GBR bearer.?

Are those values standard from PCRFor does it define dynamically based on user subscription.?
Please suggest some sources to choose the exact the bitrates for QoS parameters mentioned above.

What is Reflective QOS in 5g ? how is it handled. I am looking for detailed info on how the UE derives uplink QOS flow info from downlink?
Also another related doubt is : What happens if the UE needs to send the DL packet before any uplink packets arrived (to derive the mapping in UL as per Reflective QOS) ?
