How long UE information will be stored in HLR?

There might be "n" number of reason when UE details gets updated/deleted at the HSS. In an example, if subscriber asked to change his/her plan then it will reflect in HSS and in turn "Insert Subscriber or Delete Subscriber Data" procedure gets executed.
Another trigger could be from the network side such as from MME, it updates UE current location, current serving PLMN etc parameter s to HSS by mean of "Update Location" procedure. MME also triggers "Purge UE" procedure when UE context is deleted either due to user inactivity for a long period or in case of network initiated detach procedure.
In essence, there is no single reason which claims for what duration UE context is kept at the HSS.
