What is a No Follow Link?
A no follow link is a link that does not count as a point in the page’s favor, does not boost PageRank, and doesn’t help a page’s placement in the SERPs. No follow links get no love. Theirs is a sad and lonely life.
A no follow link is created with the nofollow link HTML tag, which looks like this:

<a href=”http://www.blabla.com/” rel=”nofollow”>Example</a>

The nofollow tag is basically a notice sign for search engines saying “don’t count this.”

Isn’t that just mean and terrible? Why would anyone do such a thing? There’s a reason for the nofollow attribute, and boy is it a good one!

What is a Do Follow Link ?
enter image description here

Before coming to the explanation of Do Follow link, here is how the normal link juice transfer takes place for dofollow links.
Dofollow link passes link juice and they definitely help you much, in order to achieve good page rank. As it instructs search engine spiders to follow this link.

<a href = http://www.blabla.com rel="external">Example</a>

This link is dofollow, generally when you left comment on other site, you will see links with rel external attribute, rel=”external” is just to represent that the link is external, it has nothing to do with backlink type. If you find no rel attribute in link then also its being treated as a dofollow link.

How to check whether links is dofollow or nofollow?

How to check links is dofollow or nofollow
Right click on the link and click on ‘inspect element’ and it will show you the html code for your backlink. You can easily check rel attribute and determine the link type
