As per my knowledge when a LTE UE moves from one sector to another sector of same eNodeB in connected mode it considered as handover since source cell prepares RRC connection reconfiguration for target cell and send to UE. UE latches on target cell and confirms handover completion by sending RRC Connection Reconfiguration Complete to target Cell.
In this case there would not be any signalling towards core network since neither eNodeB nor core network elements changed.

It is eNodeB vendor how they have implemented these case. For UE it is a different serving cell than the previous one and it is getting data services at it is. I am not 100% sure on AS security aspect but believe security keys changes whenever there is a change on radio connection. Movement of UE from a cell to another cell considered a change in radio connection.

Please correct me if my understanding is completely wrong or partial wrong.

As per my knowledge If single ENB handles multiple Cell then there will be only one RRC layer so i guess no need of HO in this case , because however same RRC is going to handle the target cell but i don't know how UE adopts to this scenario?
handover is nothing but changing cell in connected mode,as per my understanding .types of handovers are intra, inter, soft ,hard will be there.

Suppose UE have mobility parameters for intra LTE HO . UE try to sync with target eNB to confirm HO completion. So UE performs rach with target eNB. Suppose rach is not getting successful then how many time UE will perform rach at target eNB .

When target eNodeB is not able to allocate resource for all the bearers which comes as part of Handover Request message, it sends handover request ack with partial success since "E-RABs Failed to Setup List" is present in HOReqAck message.
What MME or source eNodeB does in that case ? Does any action taken by MME for the E-RABs which failed to setup at target eNodeB or some other actions taken ?

Is it possible, source eNodeB has received "handover command" message from MME and now it want to cancel handover procedure ?
What could be the possible reasons when source eNodeB want to cancel ongoing handover procedure ?
