Not able to add field values in bugzilla.

I have added a custom field "cf_stage" and it added successfully but while I am trying to add field values I am getting below error and I am not able to add field values

visibility_value_id is not a valid parameter for the Bugzilla::Field::Choice::cf_stage::create function.

Not able to install bugzilla on Solaris

I was installing bugzilla on Solaris machine and getting below error

./testserver.pl http://localhost
TEST-OK Webserver is running under group id in $webservergroup.
TEST-OK Got padlock picture.
TEST-FAILED Webserver is fetching rather than executing CGI files.
Check the AddHandler statement in your httpd.conf file.

I checked httpd.conf and I have added AddHandler cgi-script .cgi in this file. But not able to get through. Could you help me please.

How can I Change a Default Field from Optional to Required in bugzilla

I'm the administrator of Bugzilla in Micron Catania (Italy) for Product Engineer Department and we have installed the 4.0 running on Windows Server 2008 R2. According to my customer requirements, I've the need to change two default fields from optional to required: "Orig. Est" (field name "estimated_time") and "Deadline" (field name "deadline" which type is Date/Time) respectively. As far as I understood I've to modify the templates: I guess that the involved one is "create.html.tmpl". Moreover, I suppose to add the required string into the "header.htmpl.tmpl" file but the real problem is how to manage the validation (I suppose) using a javascript (maybe inside the folder "js"). If so, unfortunately, I'm not able to do that ... otherwise I kindly ask if another choice is possible.

Adding Values to Drop Down lists of Bugzilla?

I need to add alot of values to a drop down list. Is there any way this can be done? I can add them one at a time but if there was a way I could copy the list from Excel into the place where the values are stored.
