Is there any way to implement fast path for the data passing through PGW ?

Dscp making is performed in ip header so in pgw it should be done at ip layer when ip header is added to gtp pkt.

Hello Veer, I am still not clear what you mentioned here.
If I understood correctly, it is the job of application layer which takes care of IP DSCP marking based on the bearer on which IP packet  receives.

Network layer should take care of dscp marking.

Why DSCP marking is required for IP packets at PGW ?

I read that when PGW's packet handler process maps an IP packet to a EPS bearer, it do DSCP marking.
And I also read DSCP marking is associated QCI of a bearer. How DSCP marking will help out to get maintained QoS of a bearer.

What if PGW is not doing the DSCP marking correclty , what is the solution you will suggest ?
