Hi,

JIO uses separate PDN for IMS and it uses IMS signaling bearer as default bearer in IMS PDN.I think it may use dedicated bearer in IMS PDN for voice traffic or still it can utilize default bearer of OMS PDN.

Thanks Jaganathan. I have one more query "Can an UE receive VoLTE service using other than QCI "1" bearer ?". As per specification, bearer with QCI "1" is used for IMS data path service.
At ENB side there is no restriction you can send IMS data via any other bearer,i am not sure about UE behavior maybe UE IP packet to bearer mapping entity should handle this(if no QCI 1 bearer then it should forward in other bearer) it is implementation specific.

As far as I know, Reliance Jio is new in telecom domain and don't think so they would be having 2G or 3G CS network to provide voice call for the user. Now question comes up how they will provide voice call ? If they will use VoLTE then it will be VoIP based and VoIp comes under the data service which would be charged based on usages.
