What is the difference between ACK/NACK bundling and multiplexing ? Why both are required?

Hi,

Multiplexing is used to send all the ACK/NACK in same SF, It needs more resource and mostly applicable in DL. bundling is used when UE cannot use more resource and power for multiple ACK/NACK so it uses bundling to combine all ACK/NACK into single ACK/NACK mostly applicable to UE side

While UE in CDRX and eNB receive NACK instead of ACK from UE. After UE sends HARQ feedback UE is not expecting an Retransmission and moved to DRX OFF. But eNB is retranmitting it, How UE handles this?

Without MAC HARQ configuration how MSG3 is receiving ACK/NACK form ENB , As per my knowledge MAC configuration comes after connection request then how this is possible?
