LTE: Why there is maximum limit of 100Mhz for carrier aggregation ?

What are the factor involve to derive this 100Mhz bandwidth as a maximum limit for CA ?

The freq bandwidths supported by LTE are from 1.4 MHz to 20MHz.

The max no of sub-careers which can be aggregated in Career Aggregation (CA) is five.

Hence the max limit of the career aggregated bandwidth will be = (Max no of sub career) * Max Bandwidth of an LTE career) = 5*20 = 100 MHz

That is the probable reason why IMT has chosen the upper cut of CA bandwidth as 100 MHz
