Running the update from 17 to 18 failed after going 67% through, please see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=972358 .

What can I do now so I'm not stuck with a mixture of 17 and 18?

Have you tried yum-complete-transaction? If that doesn't work, what does /etc/fedora-release have in it? If it says you're running F 18, maybe distro-sync will work.

I don't quite understand this error that occurred during Fedora upgrade.

I did: fedup-cli --network 19, the result is:

Upgrade test failed with the following problems:

insufficient disk space
 need 150M free on / (1.2G free)
fedup ERROR: Upgrade test failed.

It needs 150 M but it states it has 1.2G available. So, is 150M > 1.2G ????

The Fedora install already has Thunderbird installed and New Emails are already in Thunderbird, I want import the Emails from the WindowsXP Thunderbird in with the existing emails already in Fedora Thunderbird. How do I do that ??

So, I decided to try installing GoogleEarth (GE) for the first time ever. I found the following:

http://fedora18tutorial.blogspot.com/2012/12/how-to-install-google-earth-on-fedora-17.html

and tried it the following:

% wget -c http://dl.google.com/dl/earth/client/current/google-earth-stable_current_x86_64.rpm
% sudo yum localinstall google-earth-stable_current_x86_64.rpm

But I got the following:

Transaction Check Error: file /usr/bin from install of google-earth-stable-7.1.1.1871-0.x86_64
conflicts with file from package filesystem-3.1-2.fc18.x86_64

Anypointer
