Job Description:
Quality Analyst assures the quality of software tools by using manual and automated testing methodologies, organizing the testing thru Test Plans/Test cases, executing Test scripts, reporting Bugs and Enhancements, and resolving Client Issues, as well as seeking effective communication between Peers, QA Managers, Business Analysts and Developers and End-Users.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Understanding business design documents and requirements of End-Users (data collection).
Prepare Test plan, Test strategy and other test scripts in accordance with established QA standards.
Carry out various levels of testing, including: Compliancy with the design/specs, Integration, Regression , Performance etc.,
Capture/record test results using various test methods.
Analysis of test results against established standards with focus on user requirements / technical specification documentation.
Submitting defects into bug tracker and prioritizing the bugs to be resolved
Provide accurate time estimates to project leader for testing tasks.
Record and communicate testing status to various project stakeholders.
Conducting User Acceptance Testing
Write Test Summary reports at the conclusion of the testing cycle.
